ISO 14000 VRS ISO 9000


ISO standards are measures of control, quality, management, satisfaction, which are provided by companies, which fulfill rigorous standards of quality.

 The ISO 14000 and ISO 9000 are two of the most rigorous standards of quality and environmental control.   The two in their two different regulations, are very different but very similar in structure. In other words the rules and applications are very different but the rules in general remain an ISO standard.

 
The difference between these two is very clear the standards ISO 9000 are specifically for measuring the quality of the product or service which is evaluated with customer satisfaction. By other hand the ISO 14000 is more involved with the process to avoid contamination in the workplace. ISO 14000 also evaluates aspects such as levels of pollution, management and industrial waste management.

But at the last the two terms are Generic, that’s means that the same standards can be applied:
To any organization, large or small, whatever its product or service, in any sector of activity, and whether it is a business enterprise, a public administration, or a government department.

The Environmental Management Systems are control measures for companies that work with raw materials from the environment.  Companies like sawmills, construction, pharmaceutical, industrial etc. Are those that can implement this control rules.

SWOT

The SWOT is a combination of words that describe the Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

For example, on our strengths as a company put the quality of goods and services we provide. Unlike our competitors.

Weaknesses in the internal groups of workers that are associated to form unions.

Opportunities are all those provided by suppliers, low competition, cheap labor, low prices and so on.

And threats can include all direct competitors that compete to sell more than us.

that the strategies to increase, production, labor rate, competition and everything related to business is very useful at times where we are in crisis due to factors such as inflation, low sales, etcetera recession.

This helps to expedite projects, goods or services that are being made. How to speak in public or in front of people

In the present there are a variety of books and techniques that help many people overcome fear of the famous public speaking. In this brief post, I will investigate some techniques which, through internet and through courses that I have been able to study thanks to the constant training that my work is done.
To start will build a list of little things to do when we face a situation like this.

• First you lose your fear:
Do not let shyness hold of us.

• Use techniques such as looking in one direction, or look at various points of where the conference is taking place.

• Know the subject very well which will be discussed:
It must handle well the topics being discussed to avoid using documents that people get bored when we're reading
.
• the reasons of why I'm talking about the public and the reward of that.

• Do not let our nerves to be exposed:
That is, not to use parts of our body to show nervousness, for example putting your hands in your pants, stuttering uses a lot of hands, sweating etc.

• Always use visual aids:
It is very important to use computer programs to help explain issues and the best way to explain it.

• Perform activities with the public present:
To lose a little bit the nervous, it is very important to make, games, questions, challenges that are able to capture public attention, and release everyone's nerves.

And finally an advice personally is, walking on stage or where the conference is provided, walking releases tension and helps keep away the nerves of the person.

The result of my test left me satisfied, as it claims to possess the qualities of a leader able to motivate and achieve goals in teamwork. He also talks about the charisma to treat people, but this aspect of my life I think that at times it can also be problematic, because when dealing with any person, we risk losing the respect between the worker and the boss .
I also think that the ability to persuade people, it can be a double-edged sword, because in the end we use the leadership with authority in a more disguised manner, making people or things done my way activities.

In other words I think the test result was quite satisfactory, because leaving the small details that I need to improve, I have the qualities necessary to lead a team and maintain harmony in it.

As for the leadership I think I should improve other aspects of personal way, in other words I think one of the areas that must improve is to control the tension and anger. This is because when I'm under pressure and stress I can not make the best decisions and let the people around me do it for me, showing weakness and low self-control.
These issues I believe that every leader must have, because leadership means being under fire or in the eyes of others, that is always lead by example.
I also think that the difference between friendship is very important at work, because my character does not allow me to do, so it causes me problems when making an important decision with someone close to me.

MY PROYECTS IN THE MUNICIPALITY




INTRODUCTION


The following research work, we will see the development of a project through the final rehearsal, which was developed in the municipality of Guatemala. This project was carried out to remodel several rooms of that institution. Where the subject will be health settings. Being a quantification based on the measures taken to give an estimate of the cost of materials and staff to use. Were given instructions on how to proceed to remodel the rooms measured and construction methods.





DEVELOPMENT PROJECT


The remodeling of the bathrooms has a number of processes which will be provided in the report. Where we will see decisions taken since the beginning of the project planning.


First of all environments were studied and prioritized the major problems to solve, and I conclude that health services were environments that had more problems. Therefore the decision was made to remodel. This of course in order to provide not only the workers but the general public better care.

The second thing took place, was the measurement of the baths, to re-design environments where necessary, and to calculate the amount of ceramic floor for your new renovation. Taking into account all the floor space occupied. In this way we could know the amount of ceramic floor that must be purchased for installation.


All steps were performed in all bathrooms from using the public sector to authorized personnel.
It made the measurement and quantification based on square meters, take the plans for correction and approval of the manager, where you can be an engineer or architect who approves the project.
Following this, an analysis of costs, ie price quotations are made of material, in case it is the municipality itself who run the project, if not, performing a tendering process to evaluate potential candidates (companies) who wish to run the project. If so are the contractors who must perform the steps above.



Following the project, if this is done by the same municipality, trained personnel are hired to install ceramic floor, to which you must calculate a rate of no more than 5% for waste and unforeseen at the time of installation .


Target Group:


The capital municipality makes these changes for the sole purpose of offering to the public and staff a better service and better working conditions. That is why our target group is summarized in the following.

• The general population
• Workers and staff of the municipality
• Engineers
• Architects
• Police
• Secretaries
• And other authorized personnel.


Institutional Framework


The council is the entity of state government official of the municipality, is an autonomous institution, ie not dependent on central government. Is responsible for conducting and managing the services they need a city or town.

An important function of the municipality is planning, monitoring and evaluation of development and growth of its territory. It also pays special attention to social issues and seek help to improve the quality of life of residents.
